Introduction
The User Profile feature allows users to view their profile information within Kepion and change their Display Language and Client Locale. In this article, we will explain this feature in-depth.
Access profile
1. Select your user icon from the top navigation.
2. Select Profile.
You should see the following pop-up window:
Name
Name refers to the user's display name. This is the name visible to other users within the system. The Name field is currently read-only.
Label
Label refers to the user's unique name within the system. This field may not be easily readable, hence the Name field. The Label field is currently read-only.
Note: This field will not show if you use the AZURE_AD_STANDALONE authentication mode.
Display language
Display Language refers to the language in which the Kepion UI is played; this field does not impact content created in the Modeler (e.g., Dashboard titles, descriptions, rule messages, etc.). Display Language is based on the browser locale if not explicitly set beforehand.
Kepion currently supports these languages:
- English
- Chinese Simplified
- Chinese Traditional
- Spanish
- French
Client locale
Client Locale refers to a set of language- or country-based preferences for a user interface. It defines various aspects of the user's browser, such as number and date formats. It also sets the locale when a Form is exported to Excel. If not explicitly set beforehand, Client Locale is based on the browser locale. Kepion currently supports all major locales covered by modern browsers.
Change display language or client Locale
1. Open the Profile window.
2. Select the Display Language or Client Locale drop-down.
3. Select your preferred language.
Tip: The Auto label refers to your default Display Language and Client Locale as determined by your locale browser setting.
4. Select OK to confirm changes.
Your current browser tab will refresh automatically to reflect the change. If you have other browser tabs with Kepion open, please refresh them too.
