Introduction
Kepion's Export to PDF feature is a powerful tool that enables users to export dashboards and forms as easily shareable and readable PDF documents.
Users have three export options:
This option allows users to export all content on one or more selected pages in a dashboard. Everything you have on a page, except for embedded HTML, will be exported, including filters, buttons, in-page navigation, etc. The PDF export will include all forms on a given page unless the form(s) have been excluded from export.
This option allows users to export just the forms and their filters on one or more selected pages in a dashboard. The PDF export will include all forms on a given page unless the form(s) have been excluded from export.
This option allows users to export a single form and its filters.
Note: Your filter selections at the time of export will be reflected in the PDF document and cannot be changed in the exported file.
Export Dashboard to PDF
1. Select the action menu icon (≡) > Export Dashboard to PDF.
2. Enter a File name for the PDF document.
3. Select what pages you want to export from the Range dropdown:
- Current Page: Export only the dashboard page you are currently on.
- All Pages: Export the whole dashboard.
- Selected Pages: Export a selection of dashboard pages.
4. (If Selected Pages chosen) Select the dashboard pages you want to export.
6. Select OK.
Your PDF should be downloading.
Export Form to PDF
1. Select the menu icon (≡) > Export Form to PDF.
2. Enter a File name for the PDF document.
3. Select Orientation:
- Landscape: Horizontal layout (wider than taller).
- Portrait: Vertical layout (taller than wider).
4. Select Page Size.
Note: If you plan to print the PDF, select the appropriate page size. Otherwise, select Auto for optimal readability.
5. Select what Pages you want to export from the Range dropdown:
- Current Page: Export only the form(s) on the dashboard page you are currently on.
- All Pages: Export all the forms in your app.
- Selected Pages: Export the forms on selected dashboard pages in your app.
6. (If Selected Pages chosen) Select the dashboard pages with the form(s) you want to export.
7. Select OK.
Your PDF should be downloading.
Export to PDF
1. Right-click a form and select Export to PDF.
2. Enter a File name for the PDF document.
Note: If you plan to print the PDF, select the appropriate page size. Otherwise, select Auto for optimal readability.

Exclude form from export
In the Modeler module, go to the target form's settings from the dashboard page.
2. Select the Exclude from Excel and PDF Export checkbox.
3. Select OK.
