Introduction
Kepion supports multiple authentication providers for single sign-on (SSO). Users can sign in to Kepion using an identity provider preferred by their organization. This article shows you the different options for accessing Kepion.
You can access Kepion using SSO with these types of identity providers:
Sign in with Windows
Depending on the Windows mode configured in Kepion, users can use Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) or sign in with their entered Windows credentials.
Sign in with IWA
Prerequisites
- Your organization is using Window Active Directory to manage users.
- Your laptop is joined with the organization's domain.
- Windows identity provider with Windows Standard mode is enabled for sign-in.

1. Go to your Kepion website.
2. Select Windows.
3. Enter your username and password and select OK.
You should have access to your Kepion instance.
Sign in with an entered Windows account
Prerequisites
- Your organization is using Window Active Directory to manage users.
- Your laptop is joined with the organization's domain.
- Windows identity provider with Windows Limited mode is enabled for sign-in.
1. Go to your Kepion website.
2. Select Sign in with another Windows account.
3. Enter your Windows email or <domain/username> and password.
Tip: If you are unsure of your current login for Windows, open a Command Prompt and type whoami to find out.
4. Select Sign in.
You should have access to your Kepion instance.
Sign in with Azure
Prerequisites
- Your organization is using Azure Active Directory to manage users.
- Azure is enabled for sign-in.

1. Go to your Kepion website.
2. Select Azure.
3. Enter your email and select Next.
4. Enter your password and select Sign in.
You should have access to your Kepion instance.
Sign in with Custom Identity Provider
Prerequisites
- Your organization is using an identity provider that supports SAML 2.0 protocol.
- Your identity provider is configured correctly and enabled for sign-in.
Note: Refer your system admin to this article for instructions on connecting Kepion with a custom identity provider.
For the instructions below, we are signing in with OneLogin. The sign-in steps will differ depending on your custom identity provider of choice.
1. Go to your Kepion website.
2. Select OneLogin.
3. Enter your username and select Continue.
4. Enter your password and select Continue.
You should have access to your Kepion instance.
Troubleshoot common issues
When trying to sign in to Kepion, you might encounter these common issues:
- Incorrect username or password
- Incorrect configuration
Incorrect username or password
Request your login credentials from your system admin. You will likely need to change your password based on the chosen identity provider.
Incorrect configuration
For a custom identity provider account, ask your system admin to verify that the identity provider has been configured correctly.
