Before you start
- Ensure your environment is configured with Azure Identity Provider.
- The necessary API permissions have been granted to facilitate user management through Kepion:
- User.ReadBasic.All: Retrieves basic user profile information (name, email, job title, department).
- UserAuthenticationMethod.ReadWrite.All: Grants access to read and modify authentication methods for all users in the directory.
- AppRoleAssignment.Read.All: Allows read-only access to app role assignments for all users and service principals.
- Ensure you have the necessary system administrator privileges to access the System module and manage user accounts.
Reset MFA in Kepion
System administrators can reset MFA for Azure users directly through the System module in Kepion, streamlining user management. Follow the steps below to reset MFA.
Step 1: Sign in to Kepion to the System module
Step 2: Search for the user(s)

Use the search bar to locate the Azure user whose MFA needs to be reset.
Step 3: Select the desired user(s)

Check the box next to the user’s name to enable the reset option.
Step 4: Click on 'Reset MFA'

At the top menu, click the Reset MFA button.

- A confirmation window will appear listing the selected user(s).
- Click Reset to proceed.
