Introduction
You can display different filter properties in a Dashboard by using the Filter Display Dashboard Component. For example, in the image below we have a Filter Display configured to show the local currency as the Entity filter changes.
In this article, we'll look at how this particular Filter Display was configured. If you're interested in specifically how to use Filter Displays to add images to a Dashboard, check out this article.
Example
Step 1. To configure a Filter Display, first go to the form you're working with, and enter Edit Mode. Then navigate to the PROPERTIES pane and select the FILTER tab. Here you can click Add, and select the property you want to display on your Dashboard.
Step 2. Navigate back to the MAIN tab and you'll see the new Filter Property has already been added. Note that it's displaying USD because United States is selected in the Entity Filter.
Step 3. Now let's navigate back to the Dashboard we were working on and add a new Filter Display, by right-clicking on the Dashboard and selecting Add Filter Display.
Step 4. Select the form and property to use. As this is the only Filter Property we've configured for this form, the correct display was selected by default.
Step 5. Add some formatting, and now we have a Local Currency Filter Display that will dynamically change based on the Entity Filter selection.
