Introduction
Advanced form settings provide users with a deeper level of customizability. You can access these settings by going to the General tab of the form editor and selecting Settings .

Note: All descriptions below refer to when the user has enabled the setting.
| Setting | Description |

| Row aggregate indicator | Displays an entire row when containing a non-leaf member on the row axis in user-selected color. |
| Input cell and annotation indicator | Displays available input/annotation cells in user-selected color. |
| Drop-down indicator | Displays all drop-down cells that are available for input with the selected color. |
| Alternate row color | All even rows use the first color option, and odd rows use the second one. |
| Increase and decrease color | On refresh, highlights numbers that increase in first color option and numbers that decrease in the second highlighted color. |
| Hyperlink text color | Displays hyperlinks in the selected color. |
| Show grids on row | Displays gridlines on the row axis region. |
| Show grids on column | Displays gridlines on the column axis region. |
| Show grids on data | When checked, displays gridlines in the data region of the form. |
| Show grids on corner | Displays gridlines in the corner of the form between the row and column axis. |
| Show borders | Displays a border around the edge of the form. |
| Red for negative numbers | Colors negative values in red. |
| Bold parent members on row | Similar to the row aggregate indicator but displays data in bold. |
| Hide spreadsheet headers | Hides all spreadsheet headers. |
| Auto merge rows | Automatically merges row axis members with the same value to Form continuous cells when possible. |

Automatically merges column axis members with the same value to Form continuous cells when possible. |
| Enable expand and collapse | Allows hierarchy members along row and column axes to be expanded and collapsed. Click here for more information. |
| Preserve user expanded and collapsed rows | Expanded or collapsed hierarchy members along the rows won't reset upon refresh. Click here for more information. |
| Preserve user expanded and collapsed columns | Expanded or collapsed hierarchy members along the columns won't reset when the Form is refreshed. Click here for more information. |
| Managed Formula | Translates formulas from spreadsheet coordinate space into MDX tuples. |
| Query includes annotation and text cells | Enables annotations on the Form. It is advised to have this property unchecked for performance considerations for large forms. |
| Smart Refresh | Data changes detected within a dashboard app trigger an automatic refresh. |
| Override SSAS format | Formatting applied on the Form overrides any formatting applied by SSAS. |
| Discard user formula | Submissions automatically discard user-entered formulas upon saving. This feature is useful when managing multiple users inputting on the same slice of data, as it prevents formulas from being inconsistent between users. |
| Auto height | Automatically adjusts the height of rows to fit the content in the largest cell. |
