The Event Viewer is an essential tool for troubleshooting issues related to Kepion. When seeking help from either a friend, coworker, or the team at Kepion Support, having a copy of your logs from the Event Viewer can help everyone find a solution faster. In order to export issues only related to Kepion, you will need to create a Custom View first. If this view is already created, go to the Export View section.
Create Custom View
In the Event Viewer, right-click on the Custom View folder and select the Create Custom View... option.
In the pop up window, select Critical, Warning, and Error for the event levels. In addition, change the option to By Source and select Kepion Planning in the dropdown menu. Press OK.
Name the Custom View. Add a description if desired. Press OK.
Once you have created your view, select it in the left-pane.
In the right-pane, select the Save All Events in Custom View As… option.
Navigate to the folder of choice in the pop-up window. Name the .evtx file. Click Save.
Select the appropriate language settings. Click OK.
