Introduction
A mapping slicer is a slicer view that displays mapping filters, making it easier and faster to switch between contexts in the app.
Before you start
Make sure a mapping filter is already configured. Learn more about mapping filters and how to configure one.
Add a mapping slicer
Step 1. Navigate to the target dashboard and click Edit.
Step 2. Right-click on the blank canvas of the dashboard page and select Add Mapping Slicer.
Configure the mapping slicer
Step 1. Click the mapping slicer icon to start configuration.
Step 2. In the Mapping Slicer window, complete the following fields:
- Header: Enter a user-friendly header for the slicer.
- Mapping Filter: Select an existing mapping filter.
- Form: Associate a form with the mapping filter to drive relationships between filters.
- Select the dimension(s) that will drive or limit the members available in the slicer.
Step 3. Click OK on the mapping slicer window and save your dashboard.

Once configured, the mapping slicer provides a quick, one-click way to switch context for a form, ensuring a smoother user experience.
