Introduction
Text in the application (such as button labels, field names, or menu items) may not display fully due to certain browser settings. One common cause is the browser’s minimum font size, which can override application-defined text sizing.
Symptom
You may observe:
- Text on buttons or labels is truncated or cut off
- UI elements do not expand to fit text
- Overlapping or misaligned text
Resolution
Microsoft Edge
If you are using Microsoft Edge:
- On Settings.
- Navigate to Appearance.
- Locate Minimum font size.
- Change setting to Very small Font size.
- Return to the Kepion page.
Note: If the display does not update immediately, refresh the page.
Other browsers
If you are using a different browser, check for a similar minimum font size setting:
- Chrome: Settings → Appearance → Customize fonts
- Firefox: Settings → Fonts & Colors → Advanced
If a minimum font size is set:
- Reduce it to a smaller value or reset to default
- Refresh the Kepion page the display does not update immediately
Result
This allows the application to render text and layout as intended, resolving issues with truncated or misaligned text.
Why this occurs
Minimum font size overrides application-defined text sizing. In some cases, text may exceed its allocated space, causing truncation or layout issues.
Adjusting text size
If you need larger text, use browser zoom instead of a minimum font size. Zoom scales the entire interface proportionally, helping maintain proper layout and alignment.
