Introduction
The Form Bar allows app users and application modelers to access form actions quickly and conveniently. This feature is available, by default, when using forms in the Modeler modules. This article explains how application modelers can enable and configure the Form Bar.
Show/Hide form bar
Note: Dashboard forms will have Form Bar enabled by default from Kepion 6.1.22207 onwards. Follow the instructions below to hide the feature.
1. Go to a dashboard page and select a form.
2. Select the Form Configuration button .
3. Go to the Form Bar tab and select the Show Form Bar checkbox to show (checked) or hide (unchecked).
You should now be able to edit the Title and Actions settings.
Title
The form's title appears in the Form Bar.
Show/Hide
Note: Show Title is enabled, by default, from Kepion 6.1.22207 onwards. Follow the instructions below to hide the form's title.
Select the Show Title checkbox to show (checked) or hide (unchecked).
Format
Use the various styling options to achieve the desired look for the Form's Title.
Edit
The form's title will, by default, come from the Name field.
You can edit it either by changing the string in the Name field or the Title field in the Form Configuration menu.
Actions
Actions appear next to the title:
Main actions appear individually in the Form Bar, while more actions appear when you select the ellipses (...).
Show/hide
You can show/hide actions to keep the Form Bar as compact and efficient as possible.
Under the Show column, select the checkbox of the action you want to show (checked) or hide (unchecked).
Format
You can change the color of selected and unselected actions.
1. Select the color preview for Unselected or Selected.
2. Select a color or enter RGB values.
3. Select OK when finished.
Reorder
You can also change the order actions appear in the Form Bar.
1. Select an action.
2. Select to shift the action left on the Form Bar or select to shift the action right.
If you move the Sort action up one, this is the result:
