Form Design - Dropdown position based on more than one dimension

Heres another functionality that is probably good for some use cases. 

Currently dropdowns are placed in forms based on a single dimension selection. 

We have recently come across several cases where this becomes a limitation in terms of the funcitonality our users are expecting. 

A simple example of this would be this case where you need a dropdown in a row to change by a configuration dimension that is on columns. 

The desired functionality would be for it to be possible to select the dropdown position based on multiple dimensions with a level of control similar of that of the Cell Attributes pane.
