Introduction
Kepion's System module allows System Admins to manage Applications, other System Admins, and the environment.
The module has these nodes:
In this overview, we will provide a top-level look at the sections and their functionality.
Before you Start
Select the Module dropdown > System.
Application
The Application node enables you to manage Applications in your environment.
Actions
Action | Description |
---|---|
Add | Add a new Application or an existing one. Refer to this article for more information. |
Remove | Removes the selected Application(s) but does not delete the associated SQL database |
Turn On | Turns on the selected Application(s), allowing users to interact with it |
Turn Off | Turns off the selected Application(s), preventing users from interacting with it |
Show Advanced | Shows the Database and OLAP Server columns |
Application Settings
You can configure settings for each Application by expanding the Application node and selecting your target Application.
You should see the following page:

Action | Description |

Edit/Revert | Select to turn on/off editing |
Remove | Removes the Application but does not delete the associated SQL database |
Turn On | Turns on the Application, allowing users to interact with it |
Turn Off | Turns off the Application, preventing users from interacting with it |
Switch to Modeler | Select to switch to the Modeler module for the Application |
Switch to Administrator | Select to switch to the Administrator module for the Application |

System Admins
The System Admins node enables you to provide or remove users as System Admins. Each System Admin will have their own name, label or Azure Object ID, and sometimes email.

Add | Provides System Admin privileges to a user in your environment |
Remove | Removes the System Admin privileges from the selected user(s) |
Refresh | Refreshes your System Admin list. |
AD Sync | Syncs user credentials with your Azure Active Directory (if applicable) |
Azure User
The Azure User node allows you to manage Azure users directly in Kepion. You will see this node only if your environment is hosted by Kepion and its authentication mode is set to AZURE_AD_STANDALONE.

File Storage
The File Storage node enables you to configure folder paths to store and share attachments and set up secure file upload.
