The Write Restriction tab allows administrators to restrict user input to specified dimension members for an app. In other words, data can be changed only in the dimension members added on this tab, while all other members in the same dimension(s) are read-only. This constraint differs from dimension security as this restriction is applied to individual apps, not the entire application.
Note: By default, users have access to all dimension members.
