Introduction
The Configuration tab enables system admins and application admins to manage an app's general settings and workflow settings.

Navigation
Follow the instructions below to go to the Configuration tab.
1. Go to Administrator and select an application.
2. Go to an app.
You will land on this page:
Manage general settings
The Configuration tab allows you to manage the following general settings of an app. Excluding the Name field, you can simply enter or select a new value to edit the setting.
Name
The system name of the app.
To change the system name of the app, select the Edit icon () and enter a new name.
Attention: Changing the name may break automations and/or rules.
Title
The user-friendly display name of the app.
Folder
The folder the app appears under in the Apps and Administrator modules.
Apps
Administrator
Description
The description that appears under the app's title, in the Apps module.
Dashboard
The dashboard used to create this app.
Access
Turns the app online or offline indefinitely or allows you to schedule an access period.
Start Date/End Date (scheduled access only)
Set the date and time the app turns online and offline automatically.
Manage workflow settings
The Configuration tab offers the following options and actions to manage an app's workflows. Workflows refer to the stages necessary to approve an app instance.
Workflow Type
Select whether the workflow will have an approval process (Advanced) or not (Basic).
Tip: Selecting Advanced will reveal the Approval tab, where you can configure approval chains.
Auto Create
Create a new app instance when an app is opened from the Apps module.
Allow Multiple App Instances
Allow users to create multiple app instances.
Lock
Lock this workflow to prevent changes to the database.

Enable email notifications for workflow actions. Learn more.
