Introduction
The Approval tab allows system admins and application admins to configure approval chains for workflows. An approval chain is a user-defined sequence of stages, comprised of a contributor and one or more approvers, app instances must pass to be approved.
Note: This tab is hidden, by default. To see it, go to the Configuration tab and set Workflow Type to Advanced.

Navigation
Follow the instructions below to go to the Approval tab.
1. Go to Administrator and select an application.
2. Expand Apps and go to an app.
3. Go to Approval.

View approval chains
Upon reaching the tab, you will see a list of your approval chains, their structures, and participants.

Approval | Shows the app's approval chains and participants. |
Manage approval chains
The Approval tab offers the following actions to manage an app's approval chains.
Note: Ensure you've added app users to construct approval chains. Learn more.
Add
Add an approval chain.
Remove
Removes the selected approval chain(s).
Configure ()
Add, remove, and reorder participants in an existing approval chain.
